10 Minute Guide to Plurk – Part 3a

Plurk Part 1 Plurk Part 2

Why is this part 3a? Because the real part 3 will be along tomorrow. A sinus infection on my end and some problems with Plurk on their end kept me from getting everything done today that I wanted to. So instead I’m going to tell you a story:

A couple days ago, BarbaraKB was off on an adventure. Now, as it is with all real life adventures, there were a few slow times and to help speed those up, Barbara decided to test out plurking from her phone.

It might be bearable, she decided, except for one thing. There was no list of emoticons for her to use. If she had a list, she could have fun on her phone, but as it stood, she was stuck with the plebeian :) and :( which can get rather boring after a while.

Thus, the idea for this list was born. Hope you enjoy it. :)

This one will print on an 8.5×11 sheet of paper

  • This list is a little outdated...the ones with the s_ and g_ no longer have that in front of them...and some others have been added...

<abbr>sunmorguss last blog post..sunmorgus says good morning! had to MAAR this morning, sorry guys, going to be busy today</abbr>
  • @A Nuyorican I'll have to look there. I know it's sooo much more fun to be able to use them on a cell phone, and some people have text msgs without being able to do much online, so wanted a list that was easy to print out and carry with you. :)
  • Lovely guide to Plurk, thanks for publishing this Teeg :)
  • Awesome guide! :D... I haven't used plurk on my mobile yet (Don't think I can with my phone), but I am going to go get a new phone asap.

I may have to print out your little diagram and take it with me!... I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my little emotion icons!

Also, I posted this post on the blogcatalog Plurk group discussion! Very helpful, THANKS!
  • I believe ryanlim has this on the Unofficial Guide to Plurk or at least that's where I first found them but you have them more organized and you can print the icons only which is nice.
