Ange, I think authority gets added as you're linked to by sites that are also on Technorati. I know my SU blog was ranked 3 when i added it, and it had 3 links that from sites on Technorati. I don't know for sure. I really should go count the links for this blog and see how the numbers line up.

Matt, I’m guessing that short term it probably won’t make a lot of difference, but over the long term, as more people start linking their SU blogs to Technorati, and those blogs are interlinked on SU, then the authority should start increasing.

I Teeg, I added my SU site to technorati a while back now. I’m still not sure how the authorities get added as it still only has a “one”

I added my to technorati… no clue if it will make much of a difference in the short term…
