StumbleUpon Sponsorship

If you’ve used and enjoyed SU for a while, you might be thinking of purchasing a sponsorship. After all, you want to see all the extra-special websites only sponsors get to see, you want to be part of the secret societies only sponsors get to participate in, you want to help the starving developers because you’ve fallen in love with the program they made. Shoot guys! Getting bought by e-Bay makes it really hard to pitch a good sponsorship post. :)

So why would you want to get a sponsorship?

Here’s what SU lists:

  • Pages We Both Like feature to see what you have in common with other stumblers
  • Unlimited stumbling within favorites of your friends
  • See People We Both Like when visiting other stumblers
  • Ability to Create New Groups (see the Group Directory)
  • Have copies of all your messages emailed to you (both sent & received messages)
  • Longer message history on your inbox and contact tabs
  • Ability to Turn off Sponsored Stumbles

Also, recently, I’ve had a couple friends who aren’t sponsors who said they couldn’t get to any of the groups. If you’re not a sponsor yet and wouldn’t mind seeing if you can visit the groups, I would love to know.

I do have to mention that one thing I’ve always loved about SU sponsorships, even back when SU was just getting started, is that $20 is just a suggested amount. If you’re having to watch your money, change the amount to $10. If you absolutely love StumbleUpon and want to offer more, you can do that also.

And what if you’re totally broke, but just dying to be an SU sponsor? Then you post a request to the “Sponsor Me” page.

Just a note if you do…the humorous ones usually get the sponsors…although having a stumble slave sounds interesting. LOL
